Guideline for BMA Colorado’s Editorial Submissions
“Advice from the Top – the Expert Guide
to B2B Marketing”
Vision
BMA Colorado is preparing to publish a B2B marketing “How To” book,
to be collaboratively written by Colorado BMA members. The theme for
this book is “Advice from the Experts” and we are inviting
all prospective contributors to write about how their knowledge and experience
will help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of B2B marketers.
Only BMA Colorado members can submit editorial entries for this book.
Purpose
Our purpose is to offer a current, well-written business-to-business
marketing book to facilitate sharing the knowledge of BMA Colorado members
and their companies with other marketers in Colorado and around the world.
We plan to sell the books (in both hard copy and e-versions) and use
100% of these proceeds for the BMA Colorado Education Fund, to help finance
continued marketing education for students and BMA Colorado members.
The Business Marketing Association of Colorado (BMA) welcomes chapter
submissions on a broad range of topics related to the “How Tos” of
business-to-business marketing. The intended audience for this book encompasses
both new and experienced B-to-B marketers and, specifically, the membership
of the national Business Marketing Association, now over 2,200 strong.
Submitting an Outline
All prospective authors are required to complete the editorial
submission form prior to submitting your full‐length article. This
simple form can be completed on-line under New
Submission.
All entries must be received before July 30, 2010.
Selection
A member of BMA Colorado’s Editorial Committee will contact
all authors re: your editorial submission outlines after the July 30th
deadline to provide you with a complete “Editorial Guidelines” document
and independent 1-on-1 direction to assist you in preparing your final
editorial draft for consideration for inclusion in the book. Authors
will have until the end of September 2010 to prepare your final chapter
content for submission.
