Customers Trump Analytics: Why Email Marketing Is About People Not Metrics (aka How to Make Email Marketing Suck Less)

Online registration is closed.  Contact Marilee (303-607-9957) to secure a seat.

We live in a world where people are interacting with email more than ever, where an email address is often the anchor of our customers’ digital identities, when marketers report that email is still one of the most valuable channels, and yet brands continue to destroy the channel campaign after campaign. It’s time to stop that trend.

Most marketers focus on opt-ins, open rates, clickthroughs, and conversions. It’s time to shift that focus to your customers because they are begging you for better emails. Insights will include: email trends, research, strategy, planning, execution, integration (content, social, offline). We will dive into specific examples of email for branding, acquisition, loyalty, and retention strategies, all the while covering best practices for beginners along with advanced tactics for the savviest email marketers in the group.

Bonus:  One of our dinner sponsors, Global CVM, will be offering complimentary video professional profiles.  These assets can be incorporated into your email signature, LinkedIn profile, blog, social media, etc.  A great opportunity to enhance your personal brand and professional image!
