- whatyour body language is telling the audience, whether seated or standing

Professional Speaker and Trainer
Christie Ward, CSP, is a Leadership Facilitator who focuses on real issues, tough questions and real results. A Certified Speaking Professional, she is the Principal of the Impact Institute. Her practice focuses on professional presentation and communication skills for sales, giving effective feedback, tough conversations, behavior change, coaching leadership and management through strengths, training trainers and more.
In 2004, she was awarded the Best Practices Award from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ASTD for her work to help AT&T reduce union grievances by 65% by utilizing her Communication through Intervention Program. She has served on the national board for ASTD and as president of the Colorado Chapter of the National Speakers Association, which named her Member of the Year three times.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish and education from the University of Southern California and completed master's level work at Portland State University.
