Last year’s ‘Comedian Laugh Off’ was a HUGE hit, so we’re bringing the comedy back to this year’s ‘Comedian Stand Off’! You’ll laugh the night away with our outrageously funny comedian showdown. Local comedians will try to win your votes for cash prizes donated to the non-profit of their choice. Plus, you’ll enjoy bidding on terrific auction items and networking with your peers, all while eating delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinking tasty cocktails. Here are the details you’ll need to make sure you don’t miss the event of the year.

Gretchen Hess
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Gretchen developed a sense of humor just to survive the verbal sparring of blue collar workers. She has a unique style of riffing and engaging the audience and you don’t know what she will say next (neither does she). She has been touring professionally throughout the country for the past 5 years. She started as an Executive Producer / Host of her own morning show that broadcasted nationwide for Resort Sports Network. This landed other morning show host positions throughout the USA. Her quick wit and unique writing style attracted national sponsorships and prime time airing on ESPN2. At 6’ this TALL comic views humor from a different perspective. Gretchen has opened for comedians: Norm McDonald, John Witherspoon, Pablo Francisco, Chris Porter, Ralphie May, and J. Medicine Hat, Aries Speers, Christopher Titus, Aisha Tyler.

Glenn Smith
Glenn Smith is a born and raised Colorado native who communicates his warped point of view by energetically sharing the stories and images that live happily inside his head.
Having performed at Aspen Laff Fest, Steve's Guitars in Carbondale, a bunch of comedy clubs (some sticky and some not). Glenn has also hosted cooking shows, MC's with mad skills and has been giving psychological advise to people as a professional fly fishing guide for over 18 years. Standing at 6'4", this tall drink of water's humor is a fresh, visual and relevant to anyone that understands that we live in a place that is like nowhere else in the world.

Dan McGowan
Dan McGowan entertains audiences all over the country. He performs his energetic and interactive comedy and musical parodies for corporate events, fund raisers, banquets, annual meetings, appreciation dinners, church events, community festivals and more. Dan was a winner in the Branson Comedy Festival, performs on radio and has appeared in television commercials for McDonalds, Toyota, Hewlett-Packard and more. You may have seen him on NBC's “Last Comic Standing” and Dan was also a finalist in the search for the New Maytag Repairman.
